- Physical therapists are experts in examining, diagnosing, and treating the majority of orthopedic issues along with neurological disorders and balance issues. Physical therapists also can refer to other providers, if indicated.
- Good news! The state of North Carolina has direct access to physical therapy. This means that you do not need a physician's referral in order to set up an appointment.
